After being ousted from Fox News, Bill O’Reilly made sure to go out with a bang. In a defiant move, the conservative TV host addressed the sexual harassment allegations against him in a scathing podcast posted on his website.
Opening the podcast with a sense of sadness, O’Reilly expressed his surprise at the turn of events. “I am sad that I’m not on television anymore. I was very surprised how it all turned out. I can’t say a lot, because there’s much stuff going on right now,” he shared.
Despite the challenges he faced, O’Reilly remained confident that the truth would eventually come out. “But I can tell you that I’m very confident the truth will come out. And when it does, I don’t know if you’re going to be surprised – but I think you’re going to be shaken, as I am. There’s a lot of stuff involved here,” he asserted.
While he refrained from divulging too many details to avoid influencing the media narrative, O’Reilly assured his loyal listeners that they would eventually learn the full story. “Now, I can’t say anymore because I just don’t want to influence the flow of the information. I don’t want the media to take what I say and misconstrue it. However, you, as a loyal O’Reilly listener, have a right to know, I think, down the lane what exactly happened. And we are working in that direction, okay?”
Following his departure from Fox News, O’Reilly took his message to YouTube, where he began posting new episodes nightly. Despite the challenges he faced, O’Reilly remained determined to set the record straight and share his side of the story with his audience.
