As reported by The Daily Mail:
A young woman has died after collapsing on a bus in Brazil with 26 iPhones glued to her body. She became unwell during a long-distance journey and tragically passed away before reaching a hospital. The woman was traveling alone when the bus made a stop at a restaurant in Guarapuava, located in the central region of Paraná.
Emergency services were alerted after she reported difficulty breathing. Initial examinations by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) indicated that while she was conscious, her breathing was labored.
Unfortunately, her condition quickly escalated, leading to seizures. Paramedics worked for 45 minutes to revive her, but she was pronounced dead on the scene. It was during their attempts to assist her that the medical team discovered multiple packages attached to her body, which later turned out to be the glued iPhones.
Authorities in Brazil have announced that the Paraná Civil Police are conducting an investigation and are awaiting forensic reports to determine the cause of death. The role of the iPhones in this tragic event remains unclear.
