Denver authorities are on the lookout for a black Toyota 4Runner linked to a tragic hit-and-run incident on southbound Interstate 25 over the weekend.
The driver struck and fatally injured an individual who was changing a tire on the right shoulder of I-25 between West Sixth Avenue and West Alameda Avenue. This information was disclosed in a Medina Alert issued by the police on Tuesday.
The suspect vehicle, a 2016 model, is likely to show signs of damage on the passenger side, including a missing front passenger panel. It also bears a “CU” sticker on the rear window and has a Colorado license plate ARFH65.
