For Allegedly Smearing Me!!!

Published November 7, 2025 6:44 AM PST

Blake Lively is seeking $161 million in damages from Justin Baldoni for allegedly smearing her reputation. Court documents reveal that Lively claims to have lost $56.2 million in earnings from her various ventures due to Baldoni’s actions.

Lively’s attorneys argue that Baldoni’s smear campaign impacted her acting and producing gigs, speaking engagements, endorsements, and her haircare brand, resulting in financial losses. The court documents also state that Lively’s reputation suffered a $34 million blow from negative impressions on social media.

The ongoing legal battle between Lively and Baldoni stems from allegations of sexual harassment on the set of their film “It Ends With Us.” Lively sued Baldoni for defamation after he allegedly targeted her with online smears following her complaints.

The trial is set for March, where Lively and Baldoni will face off in court to address the accusations and damages claimed by both parties. Baldoni previously countersued Lively for defamation, but the lawsuit was dismissed by a judge in June.

Baldoni’s defamation counterclaim was rejected by the court, leading to the dismissal of his $400 million damages claim against Lively. The legal battle continues as both parties prepare for trial and seek resolution for the allegations and financial losses.
