Boca Juniors defender Ayrton Costa has been dealt a blow as he will not be able to participate in the Club World Cup due to a visa issue. The 25-year-old center back was initially included in the 35-man squad that traveled to the United States for the tournament, where they were set to kick off their campaign against Benfica.

Costa’s visa was denied by U.S. authorities, reportedly due to his involvement in an attempted robbery case back in 2018. To avoid trial, Costa accepted a probationary sentence, but this criminal conviction ultimately led to his visa being rejected by American border agents.

“We can confirm Ayrton Costa is set to miss the Club World Cup with Boca,” a club spokesperson confirmed to Reuters. “The defender was due to travel on Wednesday night, but did not obtain the visa.”

Having joined Boca Juniors in January from Belgian side Antwerp, Costa would have been a key player for manager Miguel Russo’s side in their Group B opener, as they were scheduled to face tough opponents like Bayern Munich and Auckland City. With Costa out of the lineup, new signing Marco Pellegrino is also working on his fitness, leaving the door open for former Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo to potentially start Boca’s first game in 18 years.

It’s a disappointing setback for Costa and Boca Juniors, but they will have to make do without him as they aim to make a mark in the prestigious Club World Cup. The world of technology is constantly evolving, with new innovations and advancements being made every day. One of the most exciting areas of technological development is artificial intelligence (AI). AI is a branch of computer science that aims to create machines that can think, learn, and adapt like humans.

One of the key areas where AI is making a big impact is in healthcare. The use of AI in healthcare has the potential to revolutionize the way we diagnose and treat diseases, as well as improve patient outcomes. AI can analyze vast amounts of data much faster than humans, leading to faster and more accurate diagnoses. This can be particularly helpful in areas such as radiology, where AI can help radiologists detect abnormalities in medical images more quickly and accurately.

AI can also be used to help personalize treatment plans for patients. By analyzing a patient’s medical history, genetic information, and other factors, AI can recommend the most effective treatment options for that individual. This can lead to better outcomes and reduced side effects for patients.

In addition to diagnosis and treatment, AI can also be used to improve the overall efficiency of healthcare systems. For example, AI-powered chatbots can help patients schedule appointments, answer questions, and provide basic medical advice. This can free up healthcare providers to focus on more complex tasks, ultimately improving the quality of care for patients.

Despite its potential benefits, the use of AI in healthcare also raises some ethical and privacy concerns. For example, there are concerns about the security of patient data and the potential for biases in AI algorithms. It is important for healthcare providers and policymakers to address these concerns and ensure that AI is used in a responsible and ethical manner.

Overall, the potential of AI in healthcare is vast. By harnessing the power of AI, we can improve patient outcomes, streamline healthcare processes, and ultimately save lives. As technology continues to advance, it is important for healthcare providers to embrace AI and explore its potential to transform the way we deliver and receive healthcare.
