The iconic Fox drama “Bones” is set to celebrate its 20th anniversary with a special reunion at the upcoming Televerse event organized by the Television Academy. The event will take place from Aug. 14 to Aug. 16 at the JW Marriott at L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles. Creator/showrunner Hart Hanson, along with stars Emily Deschanel, David Boreanaz, T.J. Thyne, and Tamara Taylor, will come together to reminisce about the show’s successful 12-season run.
In addition to the “Bones” reunion, the Televerse event will feature a variety of panels and activities. TV legend Henry Winkler will conduct an acting class and will also be inducted into the TV Academy Hall of Fame alongside Viola Davis, Don Mischer, Ryan Murphy, Conan O’Brien, and Mike Post. Other panels will include a session with “House of Cards” creator Beau Willimon, a premiere of Peacock’s “Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy,” and a behind-the-scenes look at the Los Angeles Dodgers broadcasting team.
The event promises to be an immersive experience for both industry insiders and television fans. It will also include Emmy Phase 2 FYC panels, allowing voters to learn more about this year’s nominated shows and performers. The Televerse festival aims to celebrate the evolution of television and honor those who have made exceptional contributions to the industry.
As the inaugural Televerse festival comes to a close, the Television Academy will hold the 27th Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Viola Davis, Don Mischer, Ryan Murphy, Conan O’Brien, Mike Post, and Henry Winkler will be recognized for their outstanding achievements in television.
