Just three days post-discharge from a hospital after undergoing a *very* intricate surgery related to the knife attack he endured in 2018, Jair Bolsonaro is spearheading a massive rally advocating for amnesty for individuals he claims were wrongly accused of instigating a ‘coup d’état’.
Meanwhile, Socialist President Lula da Silva is in Moscow, participating in the Victory Day Celebration. One can’t help but wonder if even his presence at home would allow him to gather a crowd remotely as substantial as Bolsonaro’s.

Speculation is mounting that Bolsonaro may be gearing up for a dramatic comeback in next year’s presidential election, reminiscent of Donald J. Trump’s own political resurgence.
Reports suggest that the Federal Chamber of Deputies has put a halt to criminal proceedings in the Supreme Court against Bolsonaro, former ABIN Director Ramagem, and 32 others—including Army Generals—accused of attempting a coup.
The resolution passed with a significant majority.
Vote count: 315 in favor, 143 opposed.

According to O Globo (translated from Portuguese):
“The Chamber of Deputies has approved the suspension of the action in the Federal Supreme Court (STF), which involves Deputy Alexandre Ramagem (PL-RJ), former President Jair Bolsonaro, and seven others accused of an attempted coup. This decision has already been enacted by the House and will be forwarded to the Court. The vote count was 315 in favor and 143 against.”

This motion effectively halts the entire legal process, which not only benefits former Spy Chief Ramagem but also presents an opportunity for Bolsonaro to escape the legal ramifications of his alleged actions.
However, the Supreme Court has already deemed the extension of this suspension to other defendants unconstitutional.
