Four criminals carried out a violent attack on an illegal gambling den in Queens last month, resulting in the shooting of two men and the death of one. The incident took place on Haight Street near 41st Avenue, just blocks away from the victim’s Flushing home. Yun Li, 37, was shot in the head during a botched drug heist, while another 42-year-old man was also shot in the cheek and wounded.

Li fought for his life in the hospital for five days before succumbing to his injuries on Dec. 23. The perpetrators, armed with guns, held multiple victims at gunpoint as they raided the establishment and made off with a significant amount of marijuana. The violent quartet then opened fire, injuring both Li and the other man.

The NYPD released photos of the four suspects, all dressed in winter coats with their heads covered by either skull caps or hoods. Additionally, images of the suspects’ getaway vehicles, a black Dodge Durango and a gray Nissan Pathfinder, were also made public. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the crime.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or 1-888-57-PISTA (74782) for Spanish speakers. Tips can also be submitted online through the Crime Stoppers website or via @NYPDTips on social media.

The violent attack on the gambling den has left the community shaken, and law enforcement is working diligently to track down the perpetrators and bring them to justice. The public’s cooperation and assistance in providing information are crucial in solving this heinous crime.
