Chicago police are on the lookout for a suspect who allegedly robbed a passenger on the CTA Orange Line while brandishing a bottle. The incident took place at approximately 12:30 a.m. on a Saturday on an Orange Line train in the Clearing neighborhood.

The suspect, described as a 20 to 30-year-old male standing at around 6’1” tall and weighing 180 pounds, is easily distinguishable due to his distinctive attire. He was seen wearing a light-colored jersey with the words “Wild One” and the number “13” on the front, as well as the word “trouble” and two panther faces on the back. Additionally, he sported black pants with the phrase “Nah I’m good” printed on the upper left leg, along with black gym shoes. The suspect may also have tattoos on both arms.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Mass Transit Detectives at 312-745-4447 or submit an anonymous tip through CPDTIP.com, referencing case number JJ-535792.

In a bid to assist with identification, the Chicago Police Department has released surveillance images of the suspect. The images show the suspect inside the train car, holding the bottle and demanding the victim’s phone. The full version of the surveillance image can be viewed on the Chicago Police Department’s website.

CWBChicago, a local publication dedicated to providing original public safety reporting with better context and detail than mainstream media outlets, is actively covering this story. Their editorial email address is news@cwbchicago.com for any further information or tips related to this case.

As the search for the suspect continues, it is crucial for the public to remain vigilant and report any relevant information that may aid in apprehending the individual responsible for this crime.
