Brad Pitt’s Los Angeles home recently fell victim to a burglary while the actor was away promoting his latest film, F1. The incident took place in the Los Feliz neighborhood, with the Los Angeles Police Department responding to the scene around 10:30 p.m. local time. According to reports, three suspects managed to gain entry by jumping over a fence and breaking into the home through a front window. The residence was left ransacked, with the burglars making off with an unknown amount of miscellaneous items.
Surveillance video from the estate is being utilized by investigators to track down the suspects involved in the burglary. Brad Pitt, who was not present at the time of the incident, was in London attending the premiere of F1: The Movie with his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, and his co-stars. The movie, set to hit theaters on June 27, has been the focus of Pitt’s world tour, with stops in New York City and Mexico prior to the London premiere.
This unfortunate event at Pitt’s home is just one in a series of celebrity break-ins that have occurred in recent times. In February, seven men were charged with a string of burglaries targeting professional athletes, including Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes. The homes of these Kansas City Chiefs players were also ransacked in October 2024. Similarly, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s Los Angeles house was reportedly burglarized on Valentine’s Day the same month.
The incident at Pitt’s home adds to the list of security breaches experienced by celebrities, with Jennifer Aniston’s Bel Air residence also facing a security scare in May when a man allegedly rammed his vehicle into the gate. The LAPD arrested Jimmy Wayne Carwyle for felony vandalism following the incident at Aniston’s home. The string of break-ins serves as a reminder of the importance of home security measures for high-profile individuals in the public eye.
