At the 2026 FIFA World Cup, a fan repeatedly yelled “f*** Brandon Aiyuk” at Daniels. The Commanders quarterback merely laughed and chose not to engage with the fan. While this response was typical, Aiyuk was dissatisfied with Daniels’ reaction and posted a photo showing his discontent.
“Tf always so funny? Turn your savage up.” Aiyuk wrote.
Later, Aiyuk shared another message.
“(Daniels) is going to text me talking about, ‘You’re on my team now, you follow my rules.’ Boy, I’m a grown man. You’re going to have stop running behind your mama and I might believe what you’re talking about, but until then, no.”
The fallout has led to both Aiyuk and Daniels unfollowing each other on Instagram. NFL insiders suggest that team executives are increasingly concerned about Aiyuk’s online presence.

Warren Sharp Criticizes Brandon Aiyuk Over Dispute with Jayden Daniels
NFL analyst Warren Sharp has taken aim at Brandon Aiyuk after the wide receiver shared a video on Instagram Story, seemingly targeting Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels.
In the video, Aiyuk alleged that Daniels told him he intended to join the Commanders and joked that Daniels would have to adhere to his “B’s rules.” Aiyuk also advised Daniels to “act like a grown a** man” before mentioning the quarterback’s mother, Regina.
Sharp responded to Aiyuk’s actions on X.
“Telling a franchise QB ‘you’re on my team now you’re gonna follow my rules’?? complete psychopath,” Sharp tweeted.
The incident has heightened speculation about the tension between Aiyuk and Daniels.
