In a striking turn of events, President Trump has tasked his White House Counsel, David Warrington, alongside Attorney General Pam Bondi, to delve into whether certain individuals may have colluded to mislead the public regarding President Biden’s mental acuity. This inquiry also seeks to determine if there was an unconstitutional usurpation of presidential powers during Biden’s tenure.
Trump declared:
Today, I have signed a Presidential Memorandum that mandates an investigation into who, in fact, was running the United States while President Biden was in office.
- The Memorandum outlines an investigation into whether specific individuals conspired to mislead the public about Bidenâs mental capacity and illegally exercised presidential powers.
- It further instructs an examination of the circumstances surrounding Bidenâs alleged execution of various executive actions during his latter years in office, scrutinizing policy documents signed via autopen, the authorization for its use, and the legitimacy of the resulting presidential policy decisions.
This investigation will focus on:
(i) any organized effort to intentionally obscure information about Bidenâs mental and physical health from the public;
(ii) any collusion among Bidenâs aides to collectively and falsely label recorded footage demonstrating the Presidentâs cognitive challenges as fabricated;
(iii) agreements among Bidenâs team to issue misleading public statements that inflated the Presidentâs capabilities; and
(iv) the overarching purpose of these actions, which may have included asserting presidential authority.
(b) The Counsel to the President is also charged with investigating, in collaboration with the Attorney General and other pertinent agencies, the context surrounding Bidenâs purported execution of numerous executive actions during his final years in office. This investigation will address:
(i) the policy documents for which the autopen was utilized, including clemency grants, Executive Orders, Presidential memoranda, or other presidential policy outcomes; and
(ii) the individual responsible for directing the affixing of the Presidentâs signature.
The investigation emerges amidst the escalating Biden autopen controversy.
House Oversight Chairman has broadened his inquiry into the alleged cover-up regarding Bidenâs health.
Comer has called for interviews with at least three key individuals associated with the Biden autopen situation.
These âautopen gatekeepersâ have been identified by DOJ pardon attorney Ed Martin.
The three individuals allegedly involved in this access-selling scheme include Bidenâs Chief of Staff Ron Klain, senior White House Advisor Anita Dunn, and Biden attorney Bob Bauer.
Ed Martin noted that former Biden counsel Steve Ricchetti and Jill Biden have also been described as principal figures in the Biden administration.
The Oversight Project has previously reported that all pardons issued on January 19 bore the identical autopen signature of President Biden.
They have meticulously compiled every document featuring Bidenâs signatureâremarkably, all showcased the same autopen signature, with the exception of the announcement regarding his withdrawal from the 2024 election.
