Brett Favre says he was shocked when Deion Sanders announced his battle with bladder cancer this week. Sanders had his bladder removed after a malignant tumor was found, but the good news is that his prognosis looks positive.
Favre, who played alongside Sanders in the NFL, expressed his surprise at the news but was relieved to hear about the successful surgery and positive outlook for his friend.

Favre commended Sanders’ work ethic and determination, stating that Sanders always gave his all, whether in practice or in games.
Regarding his own battle with Parkinson’s disease, Favre offered simple advice to Sanders – to keep doing what he’s doing because he is an inspiration to many.
“Not that he needs my advice,” Brett said, “but just keep doing what you’re doing. You’re impacting so many people and so many people are pulling for you, just keep it rolling.”
