An incident of violence erupted early on Thursday morning in the Bronx, leading to a 14-year-old boy being stabbed during a brawl with three other kids near Yankee Stadium. The altercation took place at East 163rd Street and Grand Concourse in Concourse Village, resulting in the young teen being stabbed in the right side of his stomach around 9 a.m. Fortunately, he was promptly taken to Harlem Hospital and is currently in stable condition.

The motive behind the violent clash remains unclear, as the reasons for the altercation have not been disclosed. However, the NYPD released images of the suspects involved in the attack, depicting three young individuals wearing backpacks.

In a separate incident earlier that day, a man and a woman were shot outside a building on Briggs Avenue near East Kingsbridge Road in Fordham Heights. The 27-year-old woman sustained two gunshot wounds to her lower back, while the 42-year-old man was shot in the right hand just after midnight.

Law enforcement sources indicate that the police are on the lookout for three men in connection to the violent acts, two of whom are believed to be the shooters. Descriptions provided include one suspect wearing a light gray hoodie and black sweatpants, another in a black hoodie and gray sweatpants, and a third individual dressed in all black.

Thirteen shell casings were discovered at the scene of the shooting, raising questions about whether the victims were specifically targeted or simply innocent bystanders. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or visit their website at https://crimestoppers.nypdonline.org/.
