The Frying Pan incident is exceptionally compelling.
A couple of days ago, a Chicago man was happily tweeting about a “space milk” pop-up event when his next post shocked everyone.
He had just successfully defended his home against a burglar using a frying pan! pic.twitter.com/lfECGvVvG7

The footage showed Willenborg jumping from the porch to the bottom of the stairs while Williams pursued him, frying pan raised high. The two briefly ducked out of sight before Willenborg dashed back towards the front gate, covering his head to protect himself from further strikes.
Just as Willenborg exited through the gate, a Chicago police officer came into view. Officers apprehended Willenborg moments later.
While being evaluated at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Willenborg reportedly spat at a female nurse, hitting her face and body. This led prosecutors to add an aggravated battery charge alongside the burglary case.
Willenborg, a 14-time convicted felon with felony charges across six Illinois counties, had been released on parole just three months prior to the burglary after serving time for offenses including burglary, forgery, theft, and possessing a stolen vehicle.
On Friday, he pleaded guilty to charges of residential burglary and aggravated battery against a medical staff member. Judge Aleksandra Gillespie sentenced him to eight years in prison, a term that can be halved for good behavior.
