Caitlin Clark enjoyed a front-row seat at Gainbridge Fieldhouse as she witnessed the Indiana Pacers dominate the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The WNBA star was in attendance for the Pacers’ home game, and she witnessed Tyrese Haliburton and his team deliver a performance that left her in awe.
The Pacers secured a convincing 129-109 victory, taking a commanding 3-1 series lead. They built a massive 44-point lead at one point and went into halftime with an impressive 80-39 advantage. Clark was so impressed by the team’s execution that she called into the “Pacers Overtime” radio show after the game to share her reaction and praise the home team’s electric performance.
“It was just one of those nights where you literally could not miss,” Clark expressed on-air. “It was Aaron Nesmith, Myles Turner, Pascal Siakam, one after the next. It was really, really fun to watch. I felt honestly bad for the Cavs at one point, but man, that was some good basketball.”
The standout moment for Clark was the Pacers’ dominant second-quarter performance, where they completely overwhelmed the Cavaliers. The Fever phenom described it as the best quarter of basketball she had ever witnessed, as the Pacers erupted for 42 points in the period, leaving Cleveland reeling.
Clark has been a regular presence at Gainbridge Fieldhouse throughout the season, often seen cheering on the Pacers. However, she missed Game 3 against the Cavaliers as the Fever were traveling from Atlanta for a preseason matchup.
Returning to action on Saturday, Clark played in the Indiana Fever’s final preseason game before the 2025 WNBA regular season. The star point guard contributed to a hard-fought 81-76 victory at Gateway Center Arena, logging 23 minutes and 18 seconds on the court. She finished with 13 points, six rebounds, and seven assists, showcasing her all-around skills.
Clark is gearing up for the Fever’s regular-season opener on May 17 against the Chicago Sky. With significant roster upgrades during the offseason, she is expected to play a key role in pushing the Fever towards a deep playoff run this year.
