Caleb Kennedy, the 20-year-old singer, is currently working on new music as he prepares for his upcoming 8-year prison sentence. Despite the challenges ahead, his lawyer, Ryan Beasley, remains hopeful that Caleb will be able to continue pursuing a career in music once he is released.

According to Beasley, Caleb has been writing songs over the past few years and is determined to find success in the music industry after serving his time. The young artist was recently sentenced to 8 years, with 5 years in prison, 3 years of home detention, and 5 years of probation. In addition, Caleb will be required to attend counseling and fulfill other obligations.

Faith and family will be crucial for Caleb as he copes with his impending incarceration. Beasley revealed that Caleb and his family have been leaning on their faith and praying for the family of the victim, Larry Parris, whom Caleb accidentally killed in a car accident in 2022.

Despite the tough circumstances, Beasley shared that Caleb is trying to stay positive and is seeking comfort in his faith. He is curious about the different security levels in prison and is doing his best to prepare for what lies ahead. While Caleb has not admitted to being afraid, Beasley believes that he is scared but is putting on a brave face.

Authorities alleged that Caleb had consumed marijuana before getting behind the wheel of his car, leading to the tragic accident that claimed Larry Parris’s life. Caleb recently pleaded guilty to felony driving under the influence where death resulted from the incident.
