Global sensation “Call My Agent!” is getting a glamorous Spanish-language adaptation, featuring a star-studded cast including Javier Gutiérrez, Marta Hazas, and Manuela Velasco. The Madrid-set series is being produced by Good Mood, a well-established Spanish outfit known for hit shows like “I’m Alive” and “The Accident.” Filming will begin in Madrid in two weeks, with Daniel Écija serving as executive producer.
The original French series, “10 Pour Cent,” was a huge success, winning an International Emmy Award and becoming a pop culture phenomenon. It has been adapted in over a dozen countries, including Italy, the UK, and India. The Spanish adaptation, titled “La Agencia,” will follow the lives of four agents and their assistants as they navigate conflicts, infidelities, and crazy situations in a highly competitive environment.
A remake of “Call My Agent!” is also in the works for Hispanic American territories, co-produced by Eva Longoria. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project!
