The 54-year-old victim was enjoying her time at Kenn’s Broome Street Bar on the evening of August 31st when an unknown assailant attempted to snatch her purse from the chair next to her. In a desperate attempt to retrieve her belongings, the thief dragged the woman along with the bag, resulting in a severe injury to her left arm.
The brazen robber managed to flee the scene with approximately $1,400 worth of the victim’s personal items. The victim, in excruciating pain from her broken arm, was rushed to New York Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital where she remains in stable condition.
