Cam Newton shared strong message to Auburn Tigers recruits
The Auburn Tigers faced challenges and missed out on the College Football Playoff last season.
On Friday, Newton delivered a message to the recruits after a personal workout with Auburn’s strength and conditioning coach, George Courides.
āIf they aināt about winning, they can get out of my face and go back to where they came from,” Newton said. “Iām tired of supporting something thatās not winning! Can you deliver that message to the parents? Especially to the parents. Before they ask for money, WE. WANT. WINNERS. Thatās our restitution. We give you money, you give us wins, and if you donāt. CTRL. ALT. DELETE.”
Newton played for Auburn and earned the Heisman Trophy in 2010. The Tigers concluded last season with a 5ā7 record.
