Cartethyia’s appearance as a playable character in the upcoming Wuthering Waves 2.4 update has been confirmed through the latest drip marketing campaign by Kuro Games. Fans have been eagerly awaiting this revelation, especially considering Cartethyia’s intriguing presence as an enlightened being in Rinascita’s story quest.
The official announcement by Kuro Games has finally shed light on Cartethyia’s attribute and weapon type. She will be an Aero attribute unit wielding a sword. This information has sparked excitement among the player base, as Cartethyia’s connections to powerful entities like the Sentinel Imperator and the Threnodian Leviathan hint at her formidable abilities.
Cartethyia’s cube in the “Cube, Cubic n Cubie” event is said to inflict Aero damage, further solidifying her attribute. Her involvement in uncovering the history of the Avinoleum region and her role as a weekly boss in Rinascita’s story quest have also piqued players’ interest in her gameplay mechanics.
The Wuthering Waves 2.4 update is expected to be released on June 12, 2025, following the official banner cycle for the current patch. Cartethyia is anticipated to debut in the first phase of the update, with the second half likely reserved for the arrival of Lupa, a 5-star Resonator.
Players can look forward to witnessing Cartethyia’s official gameplay in the version 2.4 livestream event, where her powers and skills will be showcased in action. Stay tuned to the Wuthering Waves hub on Sportskeeda for more updates and information on the upcoming update.
