Cassie Ventura has issued a statement via her legal representative following the sentencing of Sean “Diddy” Combs, who has received over four years in prison due to two convictions related to prostitution.
Her attorney, Doug Wigdor, commented, “While the trauma inflicted by Combs cannot be undone, the sentence delivered today acknowledges the consequences of the serious crimes he committed.”
He further added, “We trust that with her family’s and friends’ support, Ms. Ventura will keep moving forward in her healing process, knowing that her courage has inspired many.”

Prior to Friday’s sentencing, Cassie wrote an emotional letter to the judge, requesting that he keep in mind the suffering she and other victims experienced. She referred to her relationship with Combs as the “most traumatic and horrifying chapter” of her life.
Cassie’s spouse, Alex Fine, shared his thoughts on Instagram following Diddy’s sentencing, posting from 2024 titled “Letter to women and children” — emphasizing that men who abuse women are not real men, also expressing solidarity with survivors and abusers, and included “CVF” along with a red heart in support of Cassie.
The judge has mandated that Combs serve just over four years in a federal prison.
