Could a Schitt’s Creek Reboot be on the Horizon?
Since its conclusion in 2020, Schitt’s Creek has maintained a dedicated fan base, with many clamoring for more content from the beloved show.
During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, co-creator Dan Levy hinted at the possibility of a reboot. “I think about it all the time,” he shared. “I love the show so much, and I don’t want to disappoint the fans. I’m just waiting for that idea to be the right one. And then maybe, yeah.”
His father and fellow co-creator, Eugene Levy, also weighed in on the potential reboot. “If he said he had a kernel of an idea for a reboot, he didn’t lay it on me,” Eugene revealed. “We’ve always said we would love to get together and do something. It’s just, no idea has come up yet. And whatever it is, it has to start kind of on the level where we left off. Otherwise, there’s no point.”
While the idea of a Schitt’s Creek reboot is still in the brainstorming phase, fans can’t help but speculate about what new adventures could be in store for the beloved Rose family. Whether or not a reboot comes to fruition, one thing is for certain – the legacy of Schitt’s Creek will continue to live on in the hearts of its dedicated fans.
