Catherine Zeta-Jones is gearing up to star in a new revenge thriller series titled “Kill Jackie” (working title) from Prime Video, Fremantle, and Steel Springs Pictures. The show is based on the novel “The Price You Pay” by bestselling author Nick Harkaway, written under the pseudonym Aidan Truhen, and is scheduled to begin production in March.
In the series, Zeta-Jones will play the role of Jackie Price, a woman who has been living a lavish life for the past two decades, selling fine art and trying to remain anonymous after fleeing her dangerous past as an international cocaine dealer. However, her life takes a deadly turn when she discovers that The Seven Demons, a group of ruthless hitmen, have been hired to kill her. Believing someone from her past is behind the contract, Jackie decides to take matters into her own hands and sets out to eliminate The Demons before they can take her down. But as she delves deeper into her past, she realizes that her own demons may be more terrifying than the killers pursuing her.
