Late New York socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein, famously known as “Catwoman” for her surgically altered feline features, will be cremated, and her ashes will be taken overseas. According to her fiancé, Lloyd Klein, she will have a small private funeral in Paris before being cremated. Her ashes will then be transported to her ranch in Kenya.
This final resting place holds sentimental value as Jocelyn’s father is buried at the same African ranch, and her mother’s ashes also reside there. Klein mentioned that Kenya held a special place in Jocelyn’s heart, making it a fitting location for her ashes to be laid to rest.
Jocelyn passed away in Paris at the age of 84 from a pulmonary embolism. Klein expressed his shock and grief over losing his beloved partner of 21 years. He recounted the heartbreaking moment when he woke up from a nap in Paris, only to find that Jocelyn had passed away peacefully in her sleep without any suffering.
Reflecting on their long-lasting relationship, Klein described Jocelyn as not only his love but also his friend and soul mate. The couple shared a deep connection that spanned over two decades, making her passing even more devastating.
As Jocelyn’s loved ones prepare to say their final goodbyes, her legacy as a unique and iconic figure in society will continue to be remembered. Her journey from New York socialite to international sensation will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her.
