Testimony from celebrity stylist Deonte Nash continued Thursday in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial in NYC. Nash revealed that he set up Cassie with actor Michael B. Jordan while in South Africa to style rapper Lil Kim. He also mentioned Cassie’s relationship with former NFL linebacker Andre Branch.
During the trial, Nash confirmed that he assisted Cassie in picking clothes for her court testimony two weeks prior. He also mentioned Diddy recording Cassie on her phone and denied knowledge of Cassie’s involvement in threesomes with other men.
Nash also discussed Cassie’s past relationship with rapper Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi, stating that he believed Cassie was no longer with Diddy at the time. The trial also touched on a scrapbook belonging to a former Diddy assistant named Mia, referencing the murder of rapper Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace in 1997.
On Wednesday, Nash testified that he witnessed Diddy being violent towards Cassie, causing her head to bleed. He admitted to not reporting the violence out of fear of retaliation.
