The Los Angeles County Coroner has confirmed that the remains of the young girl discovered in singer D4vd‘s vehicle, Celeste Rivas, have been released to her grieving family.
Celeste’s family is now able to lay her to rest.
Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding her death, notably after law enforcement officials discovered her remains in a decomposed and dismembered state inside D4vd’s Tesla, now stored in a Hollywood tow yard.

Celeste’s body was discovered earlier this month, tragically just a day before she was set to turn 15. Authorities indicated that her remains appeared to have been decomposing for an extended period.
Previously reported missing last year, sources within law enforcement suggest Celeste ran away multiple times due to issues at home.

Celeste’s former middle school teacher recounted that she had run away back in January 2024. The teacher reported that police located her in the Hollywood Hills a month later and returned her home, only for her to be reported missing again in April 2024.
D4vd resides in the Hollywood Hills, where police executed a search warrant at his residence, specifically looking for evidence of blood.
Prior to the identification of Celeste’s remains, TMZ received information suggesting she was the victim found in D4vd’s vehicle. Contacting Celeste’s mother revealed that her daughter had a distinct red tattoo on her right index finger and had been involved with a boy named David.
This information was relayed to the LAPD’s Robbery Homicide Division, leading to the eventual identification of Celeste as the victim.
