The loved ones of Celeste Rivas convened on Monday at Queen of Heaven Cemetery & Mortuary … accompanying the late 14-year-old’s casket to her everlasting place of rest.
A hearse arrived at the cemetery in Rowland Heights, California, next to a grand tent set up for the occasion.
The funeral service provided an essential moment for Celeste’s family and friends to express their farewells … following a case that has shaken L.A. and raised more questions than resolutions.
As previously reported … Celeste’s decomposed remains were found last month in a Tesla’s front trunk belonging to singer D4vd … the vehicle was left adjacent to a property rented by the artist in the Hollywood Hills and was later impounded, leading to her body being discovered days after in the tow yard.
Authorities suspect that Celeste — who was perceived by some of D4vd’s friends as being 19 years old — may have passed away weeks prior to her body being discovered. Her family had reported her missing in early 2024 from her residence in Lake Elsinore, California.
Since the discovery of her remains, D4vd has remained mute … canceling his tour, postponing his deluxe album release titled “Withered,” and seemingly vacating the Hollywood Hills rental where LAPD have executed a search warrant. He has not been seen publicly since that time.
