Chime Financial Inc. (NASDAQ:CHYM) had a stellar week, with its stock rallying by 18.46 percent as investors were buoyed by a positive financial growth outlook for the full year. Despite a mixed earnings performance in the past quarter, Chime Financial remains optimistic about its future prospects.

In an updated report, Chime Financial revised its full-year revenue expectations to be in the range of $2.163 billion to $2.173 billion, up from the previous range of $2.135 billion to $2.155 billion. This represents a higher growth projection of 29 to 30 percent compared to the earlier estimate of 28 to 29 percent. Additionally, the company raised its adjusted EBITDA outlook to $113 million to $118 million from the previous range of $84 million to $94 million.

For the fourth quarter, Chime Financial anticipates revenues between $572 million and $582 million, marking a year-on-year growth of 20 to 23 percent. Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter is projected to be between $43 million and $48 million.

Despite a 149 percent increase in net loss to $54.7 million and a 111 percent rise in operating loss to $64.7 million in the last quarter, Chime Financial saw a 28.7 percent increase in revenues to $543 million, driven mainly by a 16 percent growth in payments revenue to $363 million. The company also expanded its active members by 21 percent to 9.1 million during the period.

CEO Chris Britt expressed satisfaction with the company’s performance, stating, “We delivered another outstanding quarter, exceeding guidance, expanding margins, and raising our full-year outlook. Our 29 percent year-over-year revenue growth and 21 percent year-over-year Active Members growth reflect the strength of our model and the trust we’ve built with our members.”
