Whether you count yourself among Chris Cuomo’s fans or not, there are rare occasions when he manages to hit the nail on the head.
Recently, Cuomo took aim at Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) and his former employer, CNN, for their hasty conclusions regarding the effectiveness of President Trump’s airstrikes on Iran. Notably, CNN issued a preliminary ‘top secret’ report, which Trump promptly criticized for its rush to judgment.
The underlying issue seems to be a reluctance within certain media circles to concede any ground to Trump—an observation even Cuomo has made.
The New York Post reported:
During a segment on his NewsNation show “Cuomo,” Chris Cuomo expressed his discontent with CNN’s approach, accusing the network of engaging in partisan theatrics amid its ongoing feud with President Trump. This criticism arose in the context of a leaked intelligence assessment that suggested the recent airstrikes had only delayed Iran’s nuclear ambitions by months rather than years, as U.S. officials had previously asserted.
“I think that [CNN is] trying too hard to compete with these pod bros and people who sell hysteria for profit,” Cuomo remarked during his discussion with Bill O’Reilly.
“We just too often get caught up in the propaganda game.”
Trump, seizing the moment, labeled the media’s portrayal as “fake news,” a sentiment echoed by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth during a subsequent press conference.

Chris Cuomo calls out Democrats and CNN for wanting the Fordow strike to be a failure:
“Then came more proof of wanting it to be a failure. The leaked preliminary Pentagon analysis which said the nuclear sites were not obliterated, but they were ‘severely damaged.’ First, why… pic.twitter.com/ZMS6cobTkJ— Nicholas Fondacaro (@NickFondacaro) June 27, 2025
In a separate segment of the same show, Cuomo launched into a passionate tirade about how the radical left is undermining the Democratic Party. Take a look:

To give credit where it’s due, Cuomo’s critiques here are not without merit.
