Christian radio host Rob Dempsey dies one week after shocking cancer announcement

Christian radio personality Rob Dempsey has passed away at the age of 57, just one week after revealing to his fans that he had been diagnosed with stage 3 bladder cancer.

His death was confirmed by HisAir radio station on Facebook, stating that Dempsey had passed away after going into cardiac arrest following emergency surgery.

Dempsey had been a part of HisAir for 24 years and was known for his role as a co-host on the morning show.

He announced his cancer diagnosis on social media, expressing his faith and determination to fight the disease for the sake of his family.

Before his radio career, Dempsey had a troubled past but found redemption through his faith and the support of the Christian radio community.

He leaves behind his wife, four children, and two grandchildren, who have all expressed their love and gratitude for the impact he had on their lives.

His son, Spencer, shared a heartfelt message on Facebook, honoring his father’s legacy and expressing his belief that Dempsey is now at peace and in the presence of his Savior.
