Nothing has been building anticipation for its upcoming design-focused affordable smartphone, the CMF Phone 2 Pro. The British brand has taken a proactive approach by releasing teasers ahead of the official unveiling on April 28.
A teaser video shared on social media provides a detailed look at the CMF Phone 2 Pro’s design from various angles. The video highlights the unique camera design and the new two-tone finish of the phone, available in orange or white. The contrasting tones and textures of the top and bottom halves of the phone create a visually striking appearance.
CMF Phone 2 Pro Essential Key
Another teaser post showcases the Essential Key button on the right edge of the CMF Phone 2 Pro, along with the accompanying Essential Space software. This hardware button serves as a quick shortcut for capturing voice notes, photos, and screenshots, which are then organized and categorized by the AI-powered Essential Space app for easy reference. While the feature showed promise in the previous Nothing Phone (3a) Pro, it was noted to be somewhat unreliable in its early version. Hopefully, improvements have been made for the CMF Phone 2 Pro.

CMF Phone 2 Pro specs
Nothing has revealed some key specifications of the CMF Phone 2 Pro. The phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro 5G chipset, similar to the one found in the Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G and Motorola Edge 50 Neo.
One standout feature is the inclusion of a triple-camera setup on the CMF Phone 2 Pro, consisting of main, ultra-wide, and telephoto lenses. It’s uncommon to see a dedicated telephoto camera in budget-friendly phones, making the CMF Phone 2 Pro a notable exception. This upcoming device appears to be a worthy successor to the CMF Phone 1, which was praised for its stylish and innovative design in the budget smartphone market.
