In a bold move, Collin, now 21, took to Instagram on Thursday, September 25, declaring, “This is my formal invitation to do a lie detector test with my mom lol. Then, we’ll see who’s been lying straight to the public. I’m so serious by the way.” This invitation not only highlights his determination to settle scores but also underscores a deeply personal family feud played out under the public eye.

Collin and his father, Jon Gosselin, have previously alleged that Kate’s rumored romantic interest is Steve Neild, the family’s former bodyguard, suggesting that their relationship possibly crossed professional boundaries. “What really irks me is that my mother had an affair with our bodyguard back in 2009, sharing hotel rooms with him while we were on family vacations, all while I was in a connected room,” Collin scandalously recounted through social media on Wednesday, September 24. “Now everyone thinks her relationship with him is some charming storyline.”

Collin took this opportunity to express his hope that Kate would not deflect the issue at hand. “I hope she doesn’t try to play this one off. Just come forward and be truthful,” he urged, encapsulating a call for transparency amidst swirling accusations.

Recently, Kate shared news via TikTok about her new romantic relationship of “a little over a year,” though she did not explicitly name her partner. In a twist, Jon, 48, quickly asserted that this individual is indeed Steve Neild, reigniting the public interest in their tumultuous saga.

In explaining his motivation for coming forward, Collin noted, “I’m not big on the drama; I’m busy with college, work, and running my own business. Don’t think I thrive on this [drama]. However, when it comes to matters of cheating and shifting blame, I feel strongly about it.”
