A new book features the diverse work of 40 contemporary photographers, spanning genres from wildlife to landscape and portrait photography. Titled Exposure: Contemporary Photographers in Australia and New Zealand and authored by Amber Creswell-Bell, the publication delves into various practices, showcasing themes of fashion, Indigenous culture, and nature.
Published by Thames & Hudson Australia, Exposure “captures the spirit of contemporary photography, presenting bold viewpoints, captivating landscapes, and intimate portraits that celebrate the region’s cultural depth and natural splendor,” the release states.
Colossal readers may recognize the avian portraits by Leila Jeffreys and Joseph McGlennon, or the expressive self-portraits of Atong Atem.
The book is now available in Australia and New Zealand, with a U.S. release scheduled for mid-January. You can pre-order your copy through Bookshop.
