The upcoming Fall/Winter 2026 edition of Copenhagen Fashion Week (CPHFW) is set to commence on Monday, marking the event’s 20th anniversary with a more condensed schedule in anticipation of a highly anticipated season ahead. Running from January 27 to 30, the event will feature 21 runway shows, a slight decrease from the 27 shows showcased last January, alongside a selection of presentations.
One of the highly anticipated highlights of the event is the return of Norwegian label Holzweiler, which will be making a comeback to Copenhagen after showcasing in London for a couple of seasons. Additionally, brands like Nicklas Skovgaard, Caro Editions, and the recently relaunched Anne Sofie Madsen are expected to capture attention with their innovative designs. Notably, London-based brand Paolina Russo, winner of the Zalando Sustainability Award 2023, will also be returning to the lineup after a brief hiatus.
Vogue senior archive editor Laird Borrelli-Persson expresses her excitement for the event, particularly looking forward to the expansion of Caro Editions, the exploration of new product categories by Nicklas Skovgaard, and the continued success of Anne Sofie Madsen following its relaunch. The event is also praised by AngĂ©lique Liautaud, Printemps’ buying director, for its vibrant energy and strong sense of community, providing a platform for both established and emerging Nordic designers.
This season, two Swedish brands will be participating in the NewTalent One to Watch program, aimed at supporting emerging labels in making their mark on the fashion scene. Upcycled label Sson and up-and-coming womenswear brand Taus will be showcasing their collections, while slow fashion label Studio Constance will be making its debut on the CPHFW schedule. Additionally, knitwear label Stem, Palestinian brand Nazzal Studio, and other emerging talents will be receiving support to present their collections.
In addition to the runway shows, Copenhagen Fashion Week will also feature a talks program in collaboration with Vogue Business, covering a range of topics such as the future of fashion magazines, sustainability in clothing, and innovations in sizing. With a focus on emerging Nordic talents and a blend of creativity and simplicity, the event promises to offer a diverse and engaging experience for fashion enthusiasts and industry insiders alike.
