Newborn Baby Found Abandoned in Bronx Tote Bag
On a cold Sunday morning, police made a shocking discovery outside an apartment building in the Bronx. A newborn girl was found stuffed in an abandoned tote bag, crying for help. Officers were alerted to the scene after receiving a 911 call about the crying baby at 1102 Reverend James Polite Ave.
Upon arrival, officers located the infant wrapped in a blanket inside the discarded bag. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) workers quickly transported the baby to NYC Health and Hospital/Jacobi in stable condition.
Authorities are now on the lookout for the person responsible for abandoning the newborn. The investigation is ongoing as law enforcement seeks to uncover the circumstances surrounding this disturbing incident.
