About CWBChicago
CWBChicago was established in 2013 by a group of residents from Wrigleyville and Boystown who were dissatisfied with the lack of accurate information provided at local Community Policing (CAPS) meetings. Over the years, the coverage area has expanded to include neighborhoods like Lincoln Park, River North, The Loop, Uptown, and other North Side areas. Despite the growth, the core mission of CWBChicago remains the same – to deliver original public safety reporting with comprehensive context and depth that surpasses mainstream media outlets.
