Experience the Final Group Exhibition by Cornell University MFA Class of 2025

Don’t miss out on your last chance to witness the captivating group exhibition by the talented artists of the Cornell University MFA class of 2025. Featuring works by Adrian Aguilera, Elina Ansary, Andy Nicholas Li, Hyunjin Park, and Sopheak Sam, this exhibition is a culmination of their artistic journey. Titled Even the Phrase Each Other, the show is on display at Ortega y Gasset Projects in Park Slope, Brooklyn until May 31.

The exhibition’s title draws inspiration from a line of poetry by Jalal al-Din Rumi, translated by Coleman Barks, symbolizing the idea of unity through chance encounters, chaos, and cosmic connections. The diverse range of artworks including paintings, prints, sculptures, ceramics, textiles, and videos, reflect the artists’ cultural backgrounds from Mexico, Afghanistan, Finland, China, South Korea, and Cambodia. Each piece explores themes of memory, masculinity, loss, language, and technology, inviting viewers to contemplate the complexities of our shared humanity.

As a special treat, visitors will receive a complimentary risograph print by MFA artist Adrian Aguilera.

The Cornell University Master of Fine Arts program offers a unique opportunity for artists to hone their craft in a supportive and diverse community. With access to a wide range of fields of study at Cornell University, students are encouraged to explore interdisciplinary and medium-specific practices.
