The British Fashion Council has honored Kate Hawley, a talented New Zealand costume designer, with the prestigious Costume Designer of the Year award. The award ceremony is scheduled to take place in the United Kingdom on December 1, and Hawley has eagerly traveled from Wellington to attend.

Hawley’s exceptional work as a costume designer for the recent Netflix film Frankenstein has garnered widespread acclaim. In response to the recognition, she expressed feelings of overwhelming gratitude and excitement.
