Netflix has revealed the two NFL games that will be livestreamed on Christmas Day 2025. Football fans can look forward to watching the Dallas Cowboys take on the Washington Commanders at 1 p.m. ET, followed by the Detroit Lions facing off against the Minnesota Vikings at 4:30 p.m. ET. CBS Sports will be responsible for producing the game coverage, with NFL Media handling pregame, postgame, and studio halftime programming.
Netflix Expands Sports Slate with Deion Sanders Docuseries
In addition to the exciting NFL livestreaming games, Netflix has greenlit a new docuseries titled “Prime Time,” focusing on the life and career of Deion Sanders. The series, set to premiere in 2026, will delve into Sanders’ personal struggles, including his 1997 suicide attempt and his relationship with his biological father. It will also explore his journey from a two-sport phenom to a prominent coach and media personality.
Produced by SMAC Entertainment, Skydance Sports, and NFL Films, “Prime Time” will be led by showrunner Bennett Viseltear, with Courtland Bragg and Terrell Riley directing. The executive producers include industry veterans such as Constance Schwartz-Morini, Jesse Sisgold, and Jessica Boddy.

Netflix has also announced a docuseries titled “America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys,” focusing on the life and career of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. Set for release in August 2025, the series will provide an in-depth look at Jones’ impact on the iconic football franchise.
