D4vd May Have Received Notification If Body Put in Trunk While He Was on Tour

D4vd remains uncharged in the
case of Celeste Rivas
who was recently discovered deceased in his vehicle. The troubling question is how her body
ended up in the trunk of his Tesla, especially considering that this model has the capability to
send real-time alerts about its trunk being open directly to the owner’s smartphone.

The 2023 Model Y Tesla has advanced beyond the typical key and fob usage, as many owners now
utilize a mobile app to manage access and operation of the vehicle.

The app is replete with useful functions, including sending a push notification if the trunk
is inadvertently left open for more than ten minutes.

Hence, had someone been loading Celeste’s body into the trunk—which let’s be honest sounds
like the setup for a particularly grim riddle—D4vd would have potentially received an alert.

However, it’s crucial to point out that we don’t have confirmation that D4vd indeed had these
notifications enabled or even if he utilized the app. Tesla provides the option to use a
traditional key fob, which only requires proximity to the car to unlock it, and key cards to
access the vehicle.

Moreover, Teslas are outfitted with an array of cameras, including dash cams and side cameras
that activate when the vehicle is in “Sentry Mode.” This feature records activity when the
vehicle is parked if it detects disturbances or unusual movement, such as towing or strong
vibrations, according to Tesla’s specifications.

Nonetheless, it’s worth mentioning that Sentry Mode is not enabled by default. An appropriate
Tesla USB flash drive must be connected to the car to facilitate continuous recording. Once
again, we lack information regarding whether D4vd had this feature active or if he possessed

Celeste’s remains were located inside the Tesla earlier this month, with her identity confirmed
about a week later. At just 15 years old, Celeste disappeared from her Lake Elsinore home over
a year and a half ago, although some acquaintances of D4vd assumed she was much older, at
19.

Authorities speculate that Celeste may have passed away weeks prior to her discovery within the
vehicle.
