The proprietor of the Hollywood Hills residence D4vd was renting has recruited a private investigator to uncover the truth regarding the events at the property … as the LAPD has not revealed any information six weeks after Celeste Rivas‘ body was discovered in D4vd’s car.
Mladen Trifunovic is the owner of the residence rented by D4vd’s manager, which has been examined by the police during the investigation into Celeste’s death, and he confirms that a private investigator is now on the case.

Last month, LAPD carried out a search of the property, focusing on obtaining potential blood evidence … yet no progress updates have been provided regarding the case.
The Tesla was found parked by the residence and was subsequently towed to a Hollywood storage yard … after a few days, authorities were alerted to a foul odor emanating from the vehicle, leading to the discovery of Celeste’s remains.
Trifunovic commented to TMZ … “Our private investigator’s work is still in progress, and I have no findings to disclose at this moment. It’s still early in the process, and I want to honor both the LAPD’s ongoing investigation and the memory of the deceased.” He has yet to receive any information from law enforcement.
Authorities suspect that Celeste — whom D4vd’s associates reportedly believed to be 19 years old — may have been deceased for weeks before her remains were discovered. She was reported missing by her family in early 2024 from her residence in Lake Elsinore, California.
LAPD captain Scot Williams stated at the end of September that they were collaborating with the L.A. County Medical Examiner to confirm Celeste’s cause of death and assess evidence.

Following the revelation of her body, D4vd has maintained a low profile … canceling his tour, halting the release of his deluxe album “Withered,” and vacating the Hollywood Hills rental.
We reached out to LAPD following Trifunovic’s decision to hire the private investigator, and all they could comment was, “This is an active investigation. Once more information is available for public release, it will be provided by the Media Relations Division. Anyone with information concerning this investigation is encouraged to contact the Robbery-Homicide Division or LA Crime Stoppers.”
