The state of Colorado has warmly welcomed Daiso, a Japanese home goods retailer, with long lines and large crowds at its first two stores in Fort Collins and Aurora last month. Now, Daiso is set to open its third Colorado location in Centennial, with a grand opening event on Saturday and Sunday, April 12-13.
Kimika Rhone, Daiso USA’s brand and content marketing manager, expressed excitement about the expansion to Colorado, stating, “Daiso has received so much love from Colorado before we even announced our expansion to the state. We’re very excited to continue opening locations in Colorado and invite the community to discover Daiso.”
The new store at Cherry Knolls, 6770 S. University Blvd., will offer a wide range of products including Sanrio stationery, Japanese snacks and drinks, plush toys, beauty essentials, home decor, kitchenware, gardening supplies, and for the first time in Colorado, Daiso’s Standard Products line from Standard Products.
Standard Products, launched in Japan in 2021, features elevated home decor and cookware with a focus on sustainability and reducing environmental impact while maintaining style and function. Daiso’s store in Oswego Commons in Illinois was the first U.S. location to carry the Standard Products line earlier this year.
The Cherry Knolls store will be open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The first 100 customers to spend a minimum of $30 will receive a special Daiso goodie bag.
Future plans for Daiso include a store at Southlands Shopping Mall in Aurora, set to open on August 9, and a location in Arvada’s Northridge Shopping Center at 7821 Wadsworth Blvd., scheduled to open on December 13.
