Dancing With the Stars has kicked off its 34th season with a bang, delivering what some are calling its most riveting competition to date.
The second episode, broadcast on Tuesday, September 23, was nothing short of jaw-dropping, featuring a double elimination that left even the seasoned judges astoundedâyes, all three showed up this time!
After missing the premiere, Carrie Ann Inaba made her grand return to the ballroom, offering accolades to TikTok influencer Alix Earle and dancer Val Chmerkovskiy for an âincredibleâ opening performance on One-Hit Wonder Night. In true Carrie Ann fashion, she didnât hold back, enthusiastically dubbing Olympian Jordan Chiles a “Tina Turner” of the dance floor.
Actress Elaine Hendrix and her partner Alan Bersten got the crowd roaring with their lively number set to Toni Basil’s classic, âHey Mickey,â who made a surprise visit during rehearsalsâbecause, why not join the chaos of reality TV?
While some contestants showcased their dedication to the rigorous dance routines, a few fell flat, ultimately leading to the elimination of Baron Davis and Britt Stewart, alongside Jenna Johnson and Corey Feldman, who bid their farewells in dramatic style.
Post-elimination, Feldman expressed his heartfelt sympathies for Johnson, whom he lovingly referred to as a âqueen.â Meanwhile, Davis retained his optimism, predicting that Stewart is due for a DWTS mirrorball trophy sooner rather than later.
