Two Women Found Dead in Michigan Home in Suspected Suicide Pact
Two senior citizens were discovered shot dead inside a Michigan home in what police believe was a tragic suicide pact.
Suzanne Leich, 73, was found on the kitchen floor of her Warren condo with a gunshot wound to the head by her daughter, who made the horrifying discovery, according to the Warren Police Department.
Her daughter also found Leich’s 75-year-old friend, who was slumped in a kitchen chair with a gun resting on her chest, WDIV reported.
The two women had purchased the handgun legally just one day before their bodies were found.
Handwritten notes were left behind by the elderly women, indicating their planned deadly pact.
Authorities confirmed that the unidentified 75-year-old woman was from Fraser, and the duo were friends.
The investigation into their deaths is still ongoing.
