Announcing his brother’s death, Obi Ndefo’s sister, Nkem Ndefo, shared a heartfelt message on Facebook, expressing her sadness but also mentioning that he is now at peace.

Nkem Ndefo later revealed on X (formerly Twitter) that Obi Ndefo had succumbed to complications from the eating disorder orthorexia, highlighting the severity of the illness.

Obi Ndefo was a familiar face on television, with memorable roles in popular series like “Dawson’s Creek” and “Stargate SG-1.” He also appeared in a variety of other shows, showcasing his talent and versatility as an actor.

Despite facing challenges in his personal life, including a life-altering hit-and-run accident in 2019 that led to the amputation of both his legs, Obi Ndefo remained resilient and positive, inspiring many with his strength and courage.
