Daytime Emmys 2025 Full Winners List (UPDATING)

The 52nd Daytime Emmys are currently taking place at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, with Mario Lopez, anchor of “Access Hollywood,” serving as the host.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is overseeing the event, which has partnered with “Access” for an in-depth recap of the ceremony—covering the red carpet, reactions from winners, and additional footage—set to premiere on Monday. Fans interested in catching the Daytime Emmys live can do so via NATAS’ The Emmys app or at watch.theemmys.tv. Notably, this year marks a break from tradition as the Daytime Emmys did not air on CBS, where it had been held from 2020 to 2024.

Among the early awardees, Apple TV+’s “The Secret Lives of Animals” secured three wins, including the Outstanding Science and Nature Program. Netflix also had a strong showing with its nature documentary “Secret Lives of Orangutans,” which took home two awards, including for its directing team for a single camera daytime non-fiction program. Furthermore, ABC’s long-running “General Hospital” has garnered three awards, including accolades for supporting actor Jonathan Jackson, its narrative team, and guest performer Alley Mills.

Traditionally held in June, the Daytime Emmys have now moved to October as part of NATAS’s scheduling adjustments for its major programs. The eligibility for this year’s awards was set between January 1 and December 31, 2024. Major changes this year include the addition of new categories such as Outstanding Emerging Talent in a Daytime Drama Program. The Culinary Series has also been divided into two categories: Outstanding Culinary Instructional Series and Outstanding Culinary Cultural Series, while the Outstanding Travel, Nature, and Adventure category has been split into Outstanding Travel and Adventure Program and Outstanding Nature and Science Program.

Additional significant changes include the absence of a separate Creative Arts ceremony; the 52nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards has been consolidated into a single event this year. For the first time in several years, fans could purchase tickets to attend the ceremony in person.

Mario Lopez welcomed the audience, stating, “Welcome to the Daytime Emmys, the awards show for those who still enjoy watching television rather than just scrolling through TikTok!” Early in the ceremony, the topic of AI was discussed when Jodi Long, president of the SAG-AFTRA Los Angeles local chapter, introduced the guest performer category, highlighting, “Only humans can win an acting award!”

Deborah Norville is set to receive the lifetime achievement award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, which she was scheduled to accept at Friday’s ceremony. During the event, past and present cast members of “Days of Our Lives” also took the stage to celebrate the soap opera’s 60th anniversary.

NATAS President/CEO Adam Sharp and Lisa Armstrong are the executive producers, with Rachel Schwartz appointed as the Head of the Daytime Emmy Awards.
