Liverpool tells Barcelona Luis Diaz is not for saleLiverpool has reportedly informed Barcelona that winger Luis Diaz is not for sale this summer. The Spanish club had expressed interest in signing the Colombian international, who joined the Reds from FC Porto in January for a reported fee of £37 million. However, Liverpool has made it clear that they have no intention of parting ways with the 25-year-old, who impressed in his debut season at Anfield, scoring crucial goals in the Premier League and Champions League.Barcelona had hoped to lure Diaz to Camp Nou as part of their squad rebuilding efforts, but Liverpool’s firm stance has put an end to any potential transfer talks. The Merseyside club sees Diaz as a key player for their future plans and believes he can continue to make a significant impact on the team. The winger’s pace, skill, and work rate have endeared him to Liverpool fans, and manager Jurgen Klopp sees him as an integral part of his attacking arsenal for the upcoming season. With Diaz set to stay put at Anfield, Barcelona will have to look elsewhere to strengthen their squad as they aim to bounce back from a disappointing campaign. Liverpool have made it clear to Barcelona that Luis Diaz is not for sale. The Spanish club’s bid to sign the Colombian winger has been firmly rejected by the Anfield hierarchy. Sources have confirmed that Liverpool have no intention of offloading Diaz, who played a key role in their Premier League title-winning campaign last season.

Diaz, who joined Liverpool from Porto in January 2022, has been a standout performer for the Reds, contributing 13 goals and seven assists. Despite interest from Barcelona, Manchester City, and clubs from Saudi Arabia, Liverpool are focused on strengthening their squad rather than letting go of key players.

Recent reports have suggested that Diaz may be considering his future, but the player himself has stated that he is happy at Liverpool. While speculation continues to surround his future, Liverpool remain steadfast in their stance that Diaz is not for sale.

The club has been busy in the transfer market, securing the services of Dutch right-back Jeremie Frimpong and closing in on a club-record move for Germany midfielder Florian Wirtz. With Diaz under contract until 2027, Liverpool are keen to keep hold of the talented winger and continue their success on the pitch.

Despite Diaz’s cryptic social media messages and comments, Liverpool are confident that he will remain at the club and play a key role in their future plans. As the Reds look to build on their recent success, keeping hold of players like Diaz will be crucial in maintaining their status as one of the top teams in Europe.
