The tragic double shooting on the Las Vegas Strip has shocked the online community, revealing a dark underbelly of a long-standing feud between two popular streamers. Rodney Finley, 44, and his wife Tanisha Finley, 43, known as Finny Da Legend and Bubbly on YouTube, were the victims of the deadly attack outside the Bellagio, allegedly at the hands of fellow YouTuber Sin City Manny, also known as Manuel Ruiz, 41.

Reports indicate that the feud between the Finleys and Ruiz had been simmering since 2023, when Ruiz reportedly pepper-sprayed Tanisha in a confrontation. The animosity between the rival streamers escalated over the years, leading to a tragic culmination on the Las Vegas Strip.

Video footage captured the chilling moment when Rodney Finley was shot while live streaming, with Ruiz appearing to approach and open fire. The following day, Ruiz turned himself in to authorities and was subsequently charged with two counts of open murder with a deadly weapon.

Ruiz claimed self-defense, stating that he believed Rodney was reaching for a weapon and that he saw a shiny black object in Tanisha’s hand, mistaking it for a gun. However, no firearms were found near the victims, casting doubt on Ruiz’s justification for the shooting.

The ongoing feud between the streamers had spilled over onto social media platforms, with Ruiz reportedly losing followers as Finley’s popularity soared. The tension between the two men had reached a boiling point, ultimately resulting in a tragic loss of life.

Friends of the Finleys expressed shock and grief over the senseless violence, describing Rodney as a loving husband, son, father, and grandfather who always checked in on others in need. Tanisha, known for her bubbly personality, was remembered for bringing joy to those around her.

The devastating impact of the shooting has left many questioning the toxicity that can arise from online conflicts and the real-world consequences that can follow. As the community mourns the loss of the Finleys, it serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of allowing online disputes to escalate into violence.

The tragic events on the Las Vegas Strip have shaken the online community, prompting a reevaluation of the impact of social media feuds and the need for peaceful resolution of conflicts. As the investigation continues, the memory of Rodney and Tanisha Finley lives on, cherished by those who knew and loved them.
