Pak ‘N Save Rangiora in Canterbury has issued a recall for its “Death by Chicken” burger and Chicken Katsu Garden Salad due to safety concerns.
The Ministry for Primary Industries has raised concerns about the chicken potentially being undercooked.
This recall pertains to products with a best-before date of June 11.
The recall affects products with a best-before date of Thursday, June 11.
The Ministry advises that these items, sold at Rangiora Pak ‘N Save, should not be consumed.
Customers may either return the products for a refund or dispose of them safely.
“There have been no reports of illness related to these products. However, if you have consumed them and have health concerns, please seek medical advice,” the Ministry stated.
Foodstuffs has been contacted for a comment regarding the situation.
